The DFW MSU Alumni Club and the MSU Alumni Association are hosting a very special event this fall. On Wednesday, November 29th, join us for "Spartan Night with the Mavs", featuring Mavs vs. Raptors basketball and a private pre-game reception at the American Airlines Center with pre-warm-up appearances by Maurice Ager (Mavs Rookie Guard - MSU '06), Sam Vincent (Mavs Assistant Coach - MSU '85) and likely (but not confirmed) Morris Peterson (Raptors Forward - MSU '00), as well as hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and live television coverage of the MSU-Boston College basketball game at 6pm.  See attached for more information:  dfw msu mavs event flyer (reception only)

Other special guests include Terry Donnelly (starting guard for '79 MSU championship team), Rick Gosselin (MSU grad and NFL writer for the Dallas Morning News), Jim Spaniolo (MSU grad and President, UT-Arlington), Dave Brown (MSU Alumni Association), Tim Stedman (MSU Ralph Young Fund) and Barbara Ball-McClure (MSU Office of Admissions & Scholarships).  In addition, former Spartan All-American football player and current Dallas Cowboy Flozell Adams has indicated that he may be joining us.  Overall, we expect just over 100 Spartans to participate in this great event!

For those who have ordered tickets through the DFW MSU Alumni Club ($50 package), these tickets will be distributed at the DFW MSU Watching Party for the MSU-Penn St. game at Big Johnson's Beer Garden on November 18th.  If you want the tickets mailed to you, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment for tickets.

Finally, special thanks are due to the MSU Alumni Association who has contributed to our refreshments at the reception to help ensure your get your fill of good food and so that more proceeds can go towards our scholarship endowment.
